Marie Curie is a UK charity that works towards providing care and support for people living with terminal illnesses and is the largest charitable UK funder of palliative and end-of-life care research. The charity provides services such as hands-on nursing care, vital emotional support, and guidance for grieving families, among other things. Marie Curie has helped hundreds of thousands of people and families across the UK over the past 60 years. In addition, thanks to the support of the public, Marie Curie funds 9 hospices which deliver around-the-clock expert care (Marie Curie, n.d.).
